Open to change
We go where it makes sense. We listen. If our direction stops to make sense, we adapt and adjust.
It all started with an observation from Joe, founder of databaum. A farmer was watering his field and he was wondering how the farmer would know about the best timing for watering his plants. After a short conversation with the farmer it was clear to Joe that the farmer based his watering decision purely on his experience. Right away it was clear to Joe that this approach is not effective, and that technology could bring a significant improvement to this sector. After many more conversations with various farmers and experts in this field Joe, a developer himself, has started building a product that was truly customer centric.
Along the way Joe met Saurabh, a passionate plant scientist, who was immediately hooked by the way of helping farmers with technology.
Saurabh comes from a farmer family in India and practices traditional farming in his farms. He worked with non profit organisations and agri companies at different roles. That experience is exactly what databaum needs to thrive and continue to build the best product out there.
Together the co-founders and everyone at databaum are committed to make world a better place to live through achieving the United Nations goals for sustainable development.
